This fall is an exciting one for me! As part of my art journey I promised myself I would put myself out there more, regardless of the crippling fear that I feel. I know that this fear comes from trauma and it makes me want to hide away from the world. In order to bring light, I need to overcome that fear. Thankfully I have some wonderful friends and family who have given me the gentle nudge to put myself out there.

The goal of The Steel Spirit is to encourage more individuals from the Uniformed Services to become involved and share their stories. Stories and art inspires. This is what we are passionate about doing.
Submissions/involvement is encouraged from all backgrounds, ranks and ages, serving or retired. We have had individuals with and without PTSD/OSI. This gallery will feature Veteran/Serving artists from the services predominantly from this area. Gallery located at: 5 St. Anne Street, St. Albert, Alberta, T8N 3Z9
